Getting a grip on government data, from strategy to standard.

Government organisations face increasingly complex data challenges. E-Space helps municipalities and other public bodies share, understand and use data more effectively; with information models, data standards and exchange agreements that work in practice.

Standards and models that work in practice

A model or standard is not an end in itself. E-Space ensures that information models, data standards and exchange agreements align with the reality of municipal processes, national facilities and cross-organisational collaboration; so they are actually adopted and continue to be used.

Expertise

E-Space supports government organisations with data challenges at the intersection of policy, operations and technology. From data strategy and governance to concrete models, standards and exchange agreements that connect with existing processes and national facilities.

Information models

Design and harmonisation of information models as the foundation for data exchange, data-driven policy and cross-organisational collaboration.

Data standards

Development of standards that ensure organisations speak the same language and can share data reliably.

Data exchange

Specification of data exchanges, APIs and semantic agreements between government organisations and chain partners.

Data strategy

Translating policy ambitions into a coherent data approach with concrete steps and outcomes.

European interoperability

Applying Dutch and European interoperability frameworks in the day-to-day practice of government organisations.

Projects

E-Space works on data challenges at municipalities, executive agencies and national programmes. The focus is always on standardisation, harmonisation and data exchange; so that government organisations can work with each other's data in a predictable way. The projects below show how data challenges have been translated into workable models, agreements and facilities used by many organisations.
